Every placement begins with a family needs assessment call with a dedicated recruitment consultant. This informative and confidential discussion is of paramount importance to allow us to learn about your family, your lifestyle, understand your childcare needs and the personal and professional qualities you would like to see in your ideal nanny. We aim to obtain as much information from you as possible to be able to craft a customised job description and best match you with one of our qualified candidates. Please, note that you will be required to provide proof of identity and proof of address.
Once you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions of Business and settled the registration fee, the selection process can begin. Please note that our Terms & Conditions of Business are available upon request. Don’t hesitate to contact us to get any further information.
As part of our bespoke service, you will be assigned a consultant who will handpick a selection of candidates that meet your requirements. You will be presented with a Bonjour Nanny International candidate profile for each potential candidate. We aim to put forward no more than four candidates in the first instance. Candidates put forward will be those who have truly impressed us, whom we believe to be the best fit for your family.
Upon selecting your ideal candidates from the shortlist, a face to face interview will be arranged with you and the candidate(s), if both parties are in the same location. Alternatively, we can facilitate a Skype or a telephone interview.
We understand that hiring a Nanny is an important decision. After you have interviewed a candidate, and feel that you have met the ideal candidate, before making an offer of employment, you may wish to arrange to have a paid trial days with them. Please, note that you are responsible for paying the candidate directly for her time.
Once you have decided to make an offer of employment to a candidate, we will send you an invoice for the final placement fee. After having paid the invoice in full, the candidate begins her role with your family!
We work alongside the UK's nanny payroll market leader who provides help and guidance on nanny tax, payroll and contracts. Please note, that it is the sole responsibility of the client to organise tax and national insurance contributions and to obtain work permits, flights and medical cover if working overseas.
Our service doesn't end when you hire one of our candidates. We will periodically follow up with clients and candidates within the first few months to ensure both parties are happy with the employment decision.
